Outlook guide to setup Optonline.net mail

5 Select Internet Email Addresses, click Next and enter the following data among user data:

Your name: Your full name.
Email Address: your Optonline.net email address.

6 In the box Type Account below Server Information, select imap and fill out the following information:

Incoming e-mail: mail.optonline.net
Incoming port: 993

Outgoing e-mail: smtp.optonline.net
Outgoing port: 465

7 Under Login Information fill in the following settings:

E-mail: your Optonline.net email-adress
Password: your Optonline.net email-password

Login with security: ssl

  • These settings are no longer correct. The outgoing mail server is now the same as the incoming mail server. The ports listed are correct.
