  • I have have had an email account with excite.con since 1997, then suddenlyover post year or more I have been unable to obtain my email or go to"My Excite" page.   • Are the entries in for username and literally equal to "email" and "uw email-wachtwoord" as shown? Using what I think these should have doesn't work. Thanks.

  • I cant get the phone (Sony m5) to recognise my account. username and password are correct (I've used them for 20 years). I note comments about pop3 cancellation - does this mean excite.com just wont work properly on an android phone?

  • The reason this does not work is that Bluetie bought Excite mail in 2008 and cancelled the pop3 service and will never be re-introduced again.

  • It won't let me get past the incoming server settings. It tells me "cannot safely connect to server". Whether I am on wifi or 4g. Says the same.
