iPhone guide to setup 1and1.com mail

1 Open 'Settings', click on 'Passwords & accounts' and 'Add account'.

Click on your provider name if it's listed, otherwise click on 'Other'

2 Make sure 'Email' is checked and click 'Save'.

Your email account is now saved. In the next steps we check if all settings are correct.

3 Click on your newly created email address and choose 'Advanced'. Make sure that the following data is correct under 'Incoming server':

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 993

4 Go back to the previous screen and under 'Outgoing server' click on smtp.1and1.com. Make sure the following information is correct:

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 587

I have tried everything to download me 1and1 mail on my tablet and phone which both happen to be apple devices. The did work at one time but they no longer work. I need them horribly bad. Please help! I have tried the IMAP and it doesn't work. I am not getting the SSL option which even if I did. now SSL setting is available. Please help. I am in dire need.

For whatever reason 1& 1 no longer works on my Iphone. Nothing I do works and nothing Apple did worked.

Since the upgrade at the weekend, I am now unable to download my business email onto my iPhone so that I can use my calendar function? Any ideas?

Help! iPad was working fine for emails but have an iPhone which I duplicated the set up on and now both not working saying mail server imap1and1.com not responding. Main frame computer is working! What have I done wrong

Tried all of this for several attempts over 3 days. Incoming works but outgoing says wrong user of password. Account works well on Mac laptop, won't work on the iphone 8.
