Android guide to setup GoDaddy mail

1 Open your Email application from the menu, add a new account and choose 'Other'.

If you do not have an account yet, you can start setting up right away. Otherwise, open 'Settings' in the email app and choose 'Add account'.

2 In the next screen enter your account details and click on 'Login':

Email: your GoDaddy email address
Password: your GoDaddy email password

3 Choose imap and enter the following details under 'Server incoming mail':

imap server: imap.secureserver.net
Security type: ssl
Port: 993

4 Your account is now ready to use.

Congratulations, your account is now set up. Open the email app on your smartphone to use your email.

  • I am trying to add my email to my android and I have forgotten my password! I tried to go into the change your password so they would send me a code by email but it never came to email account on my laptop. Any help would be appreciated. Penny

  • After entering the above settings on a Google Pixel 2XL I get: " The username or password is incorrect., I can’t move past incoming sever settings. It was working yesterday until I had to reset my phone back to factory settings.
