I have gotten locked out of my email acct.....I changed the password on my laptop & everything is fine, however I cannot get it to change on my iPad or my iPhone.....what should I do?
4 months agoThe incoming server you have is incorrect. There should be a “L” at the end of “mai”. It should be: imap.mail.att.net
4 months agoI can't get my att.net mail on my iPhone or Mac for a week. The message says that the imap isn't correct.
4 months agoHaving the same problem with password and email settings not working!!! So frustrating! Is there a fix!? My password is correct; I can log on through att site with no problem, trying to access on my phone via my email and says it’s either the wrong password and/or imap settings are incorrect!!!!!

5 months agoAT&T has finally created something they cannot manage. I can access my email account on line but found that I now have to use SMK as a password instead of my account password when configuring Outlook 2010 to use my AT&T email. We also lost the capability of my wife to use eMail on her IPAD. Repeated attempts to configure using the password under IMAP and POP have both failed. Tried using an SMK and it failed. I can access her email on line so I know the password and account are ok. I spent an hour on the telephone with a very nice AT&T customer support person who had no clue as well. Seems he was not even educated on SMKs. What is going on with AT&T?
6 months agoSetting up att.net email on iPhone & iPad are NOT intuitive. I successfully set up by selecting options: Settings Mail > Add Account > Yahoo! Details here: https://www.att.com/support/smallbusiness/article/smb-email-support/KM1189366/
7 months agoI cannot get my email set up on my iPhone. I get the message The POP server “imap.mai.att.net is not responding. Check your network connection and that you entered the correct information in the “Incoming MAil Server” field.
