iPhone guide to setup Wave Broadband mail

1 Open 'Settings', click on 'Passwords & accounts' and 'Add account'.

Click on your provider name if it's listed, otherwise click on 'Other'

2 Make sure 'Email' is checked and click 'Save'.

Your email account is now saved. In the next steps we check if all settings are correct.

3 Click on your newly created email address and choose 'Advanced'. Make sure that the following data is correct under 'Incoming server':

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 110

4 Go back to the previous screen and under 'Outgoing server' click on mail.wavecable.com. Make sure the following information is correct:

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 25

  • I have successfully had emails coming to my iphone in the past. unable to verify information. The error is get says "The SMTP server "mail.wavecable.com is not responding. check to make sure you entered in the "outgoing mail server" field. I have tried server port 25 and 110 with no luck

  • I can't get my email account to work on Iphone. Thought I could get help from store in Stanwood but women there was rude; computer email keeps downloading repeating emails. The upgrading program has messed everything up; I am not savvy about how to reprogram everything; tried to follow online directions with no success.
