Set up Outlook Insight Broadband

1 Start Outlook, click the File tab and click in the category information Account Settings

2 Click in the tab Email on New.

3 Switch on Server Settings and click Next.

4 Select Internet Email Addresses, click Next and enter the following data among user data:

Your name: Your full name.
Email Address: your full email address.

5 In the box Type Account below Server Information, select pop3 and fill out the following information:

Incoming e-mail: mail.insightbb.comIncoming port: 995Outgoing e-mail: mail.insightbb.comOutgoing port: 465

6 Below Login Information fill in the following settings:

E-mail: your Insight Broadband email-adressPassword: your Insight Broadband email-password Login with security: ssl

7 Click on Test Account Settings. If all goes well, click next and then finish.

Question and Answer

  • Updated windows 7 / Outlook 2007 to windows 10 / Outlook 2016. Current incoming / outgoing setting are "pop-server.insight.rr.com and smtp-server.insight.rr.com. Mail will not send or receive. Have tried the following server variations with no success. mail.insightbb.com mail.twc.com mail.insight.rr.com Help is needed please.
