2 years agoI have been a Mindspring/Earthlink customer since 1999 and I have nothing but trouble with getting my emails on mwcaton@mindspring.com and getting the ERROR MESSAGE OF "DOES NOT RECOGNIZE MY INCOMING MAIL SETTINGS" on both my laptop and iPhone. WTH is going on and who can assist me with fixing this that has a HIGH level of expertise in resolving this ?? I can still get emails using Earthlink Web Mail but that is a "work around" solution. I respectfully request SOMEONE to f/u with me from Earthlink. Thank you, Mark Caton
3 years agoI have never seen such a cludge of configuration data in my life. These instructions simply do not work for iPhone attempting to connect to any Earthlink-associated service. TheGrid.net, onemain, or any other Earthlink convoluted service entity.
4 years agoIf I change password for webmail do I need to change it on iPhone email too so they are the same.

5 years agoAt the beginning of May 2019, I stopped getting EarthLink email on my iPhone. I get a message that my IMAP password is incorrect. I can't even find where these parameters are set up anymore on the phone. Settings -> mail doesn't offer the option to add an additional email account anymore.
5 years agoCan I update the contacts used by my ix.netcom.com e-mail account on my iPhone 5 from the contacts used on my laptop (Windows 10)?
5 years agoAbout a week ago, my iPhone stopped retrieving EarthLink mail. I have triple checked all settings and account information and they are all correct. The iPhone simply refuses and says that my information and or password is incorrect. I can assure you all my information is perfectly accurate. I have no idea what to do from this point.

5 years agoCannot set up email on iPad although it works fine on iPhone. When I try to send message from iPad I get message that “rallsk@thegrid.net” is not recognized by server.
