Click on the file tab and in the 'Information' category click on 'Account Settings'
In the 'Email' tab, click 'New'
Check 'Server settings'.
Click on 'Test Account Settings'. If everything goes well, click on next and then on finish.

5 years agoI am using outlook 7, the settings are incoming pop3 993 SSL outgoing 587 TLS. The problem I'm having is that I can send emails but I am not receiving emails from comcast. According to Comcast my numbers meets their criteria. I am getting an error message, "your incoming POP3 email server has reported an internal error.

5 years agoI am using outlook email, the setting of outgoing mail server at (smtp.comcat.net) with port num 587 is not working ! the error is (550 5.1.0 Authentication required) !
