Android guide to setup Network Solutions mail

1 Open your Email application from the menu, add a new account and choose 'Other'.

If you do not have an account yet, you can start setting up right away. Otherwise, open 'Settings' in the email app and choose 'Add account'.

2 In the next screen enter your account details and click on 'Login':

Email: your Network Solutions email address
Password: your Network Solutions email password

3 Choose% type% and enter the following details under 'Server incoming mail':

pop3 server: mail.[domain].com
Security type: ssl
Port: 995

4 At 'Outgoing mail server' enter the details below and choose 'Login':

SMTP server: smtp.[domain].com
Security type: ssl
Port: 587

Verification for sending email: yes

Username: email
Password: your Network Solutions email password

5 Your account is now ready to use.

Congratulations, your account is now set up. Open the email app on your smartphone to use your email.

  • I am getting mail but unable to send mail. I have the settings for an Android but I am getting error "couldn't verify account. A security connection error has occurred". I have done both mail.lchd.us and smtp.lchd.us. I used the port given and changed it to 587.
