Android guide to setup Frontier mail

1 Open your Email application from the menu, add a new account and choose 'Other'.

If you do not have an account yet, you can start setting up right away. Otherwise, open 'Settings' in the email app and choose 'Add account'.

2 In the next screen enter your account details and click on 'Login':

Email: your Frontier email address
Password: your Frontier email password

3 Choose pop3 and enter the following details under 'Server incoming mail':

pop3 server: pop3.frontier.com
Security type: ssl
Port: 995

4 Your account is now ready to use.

Congratulations, your account is now set up. Open the email app on your smartphone to use your email.

  • My email stop working 6/17/16. I didn't change anything. Please let me me know how to fix this. It was working before. Won't work on my phone or laptop.

  • I can get the system to validate the incoming but not the outgoing on my droid turbo. Can you help? Frontier couldn't resolve this.

  • When trying to set up my email on my phone, I get to the last step, where you tell me to check "Requires sign in." When I do that, the "done" button grays out. It won't let me check the box. If I don't check it, but have done everything else, my emails don't send. They just sit in the outbox. I get incoming emails ok, though. What is wrong?
