Network Solutions email settings for Android

Android guide to setup Network Solutions mail

1 Open your Email application from the menu, add a new account and choose 'Other'.

If you do not have an account yet, you can start setting up right away. Otherwise, open 'Settings' in the email app and choose 'Add account'.

2 In the next screen enter your account details and click on 'Login':

Email: your Network Solutions email address
Password: your Network Solutions email password

3 Choose pop3 and enter the following details under 'Server incoming mail':

pop3 server: mail.[domain].com
Security type: ssl
Port: 995

4 Your account is now ready to use.

Congratulations, your account is now set up. Open the email app on your smartphone to use your email.

  • I have Samsung Galaxy S10e. Settings do not work I get MEssage: "A Security connection error has occurred." When I use SSL (Accept all Certs) I get "username and password are incorrect".

  • Follow my instructions not there's this is not a gmail but used for training purposes. Please use gmail setup for gmail account. 1. your password must be what you use 2. use your email address always above your password in setup second line down 3. your incoming is you pop3/imap server is (mail.domain). not pop3.gmail.com again use yours which would be like mail.gmail.com use whatever yours is. 4. your outgoing is SMTP.Domain Like smpt.gmail.com again use whatever your email address is. 4. again your user name is your email address above password on the bottom always use your email address above password in setup. You are now connected!

  • Cannot set up email on my Samsung S9 from Network Solutions. Get same error msg, "Your POP3/IMAP access isnt turned on for this account. Check your email account settings on the web then try again". I have changed password, cleared cache etc. Nothing seems to help.
