Verizon email settings for Android

Android guide to setup Verizon mail

1 Open your Email application from the menu, add a new account and choose 'Other'.

If you do not have an account yet, you can start setting up right away. Otherwise, open 'Settings' in the email app and choose 'Add account'.

2 In the next screen enter your account details and click on 'Login':

Email: your Verizon email address
Password: your Verizon email password

3 Choose pop3 and enter the following details under 'Server incoming mail':

pop3 server: incoming.verizon.net
Security type: ssl
Port: 995

4 Your account is now ready to use.

Congratulations, your account is now set up. Open the email app on your smartphone to use your email.

I purchased a new Moto z4 yesterday and have not been successful in setting up my verizon.net email. On my old phone, I could go to Accounts, Settings, email, incoming server (I set up the pop account), etc. On this new phone, I do not see "email", only a large red M and setting up the pop3 doesn't appear to work. Or if it does, I don't know how to actually view the incoming emails. Please help.

Can receive email on android phone but no longer can send it. Noticed that my INCOMING settings don't match what you have on this site, yet incoming works. Changing to outgoing settings shown here just gets error message it can't connect to server.

I am trying to connect my e-mail to an Amazon Fire HD 8 and I can not connect my e-mail, but I can connect my wife's e-mail with no problem ans she is also on verizon.. Please advise

I was receiving my email on my android phone up until January 29th. Now I am not receiving it. I tried to delete and re-install using th directions above with no success. Please advise

On my android phone when I try and open email I always have to hit a button to load more and aldi also show images, even when I do this, at times the email won't load. Not sure how to resolve this.
