iPhone guide to setup Mindspring (Earthlink) mail

5 Choose 'Add mail account', and enter the following information:

Name: your own name
Email: your Mindspring (Earthlink) email address
Password: your Mindspring (Earthlink) email password
Description: a personal description

6 Choose pop3 and enter the following details under 'Incoming mail server':

Hostname: pop.mindspring.com
Username: your Mindspring (Earthlink) email address
Password: your Mindspring (Earthlink) email password

7 Under 'Outgoing mail server' enter the details below and choose 'next':

Hostname: smtpauth.earthlink.net
Username: your Mindspring (Earthlink) email address
Password: your Mindspring (Earthlink) email password

8 Choose 'Done' at the top right and restart the iPhone to activate the settings.

Congratulations, your account is now set up. Open the mail app to use your account.

Mindspring is configured correctly on my iPhone SE (IOS 14). I can send and receive Mindspring mail from the iPhone, and incoming mail is syncing with my Macbook. How do I sync outgoing mail?

Cannot send mail out on my iPhone 8SE. I have set up the accounts but there is no option to choose POP3 - just IMAP or POP. I can receive mail and the Port # is 110 but the outgoing server set at 587 does not send mail out.

There is no place to put an outgoing port number when setting up email on Iphone XS Max...I want to be able to send with my alias address on my new phone as I did before with my old Iphone 7plus

I have Mindspring. I have a new Iphone. I have a mindspring email address and an alias email....that does work. I cannot SEND mail from the new Iphone with my alias email as the sender....HELP! I forgot what to do...
