iPhone guide to setup Optonline.net mail

5 Choose 'Add mail account', and enter the following information:

Name: your own name
Email: your Optonline.net email address
Password: your Optonline.net email password
Description: a personal description

6 Choose imap and enter the following details under 'Incoming mail server':

Hostname: mail.optonline.net
Username: your Optonline.net email address
Password: your Optonline.net email password

7 Under 'Outgoing mail server' enter the details below and choose 'next':

Hostname: smtp.optonline.net
Username: your Optonline.net email address
Password: your Optonline.net email password

8 Choose 'Done' at the top right and restart the iPhone to activate the settings.

Congratulations, your account is now set up. Open the mail app to use your account.

  • I stopped receiving emails addressed to this Optonline email address on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Looks like it’s been about 2-3 weeks ago that they stopped. I still receive them on my MacBook.
