When trying to get incoming email I get a pop-up pop.cox.net and asking my user name and password. Apparently something is amiss since it is not accepting either the user name (maack1?) or password (Syzygy@1234?) or both. Need help to know actual user name and actual password for pop.cox.net

2 years agoI have been on cox email for at least 13 years. All of a sudden I can not send an email on my Android phone. I have followed all the instructions given on servers, etc., no luck ---need help. Very frustrating as we are haveing problems at same time with Cox Contour also.
2 years agoI've had a Cox email address for 10-15 years and have just used the "Cox Webmail" interface. I have grown increasingly frustrated with slow response, difficulty loging in, limited functionality, etc. and have recently been experiencing instability new folders poping up under other folders for new reason. I dearly want to switch to Outlook with which I am familiar from my business email. My big concern, however, is that I may lose thousands of emails, both inbound and outbound, that I have placed into personal folders. Will they move over to Outlook if I make the switch? Are there specific steps I should take to assure that I don't loose my file structure / folders and their contents?
