Need help setting up centurytel.net email on my new iPhone 8 Plus. I have followed this tutorial, but when I try to "save" the initial info it say this account may not be able to send or recieve emails.

5 years agoHi, I have been having an issue with outgoing mail. I have an iPhone model 6 version IOS12.3.1. for years im unable to send mail. I have googled and tried everything list and nothing seems to work. Can you help me with this problem. thanks
5 years agoI got a new i phone yesterday and no e mails are coming in on this new phone. My phone provider tried several times today to correct this, but gave up, telling me I need to set up a different e mail address. I cannot understand why I received e mails on my old phone and can't on this one. I don't think I should have to set up a new address, particularly since I had this before. hat is the solution to this problem? After reading comments, this seems to be a common problem.

5 years agoMy email—thru embarqmail.com—will suddenly not download to my iPhone and iPad. I also reset my iPad with no success. Also when you give settings for email accounts everything is “centurylink.net” and my settings have been embarqmail.com—for outgoing and ongoing “server”
