Cox email settings for iPhone

iPhone guide to setup Cox mail

1 Open 'Settings', click on 'Passwords & accounts' and 'Add account'.

Click on your provider name if it's listed, otherwise click on 'Other'

2 Make sure 'Email' is checked and click 'Save'.

Your email account is now saved. In the next steps we check if all settings are correct.

3 Click on your newly created email address and choose 'Advanced'. Make sure that the following data is correct under 'Incoming server':

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 110

4 Go back to the previous screen and under 'Outgoing server' click on smtp.cox.net. Make sure the following information is correct:

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 25

Trying to set up my email on my iphone 7 and this says to put in .net and my address is .com Should I still use .net or .com

I can get emails but not send them on my new i phone 7. I have tried everything - any suggestions?

I have forgotten my password. So i can't setup thr incoming and outgoing servers. This has benn working for years! Dont know what happened but im getting very frustrated!!
