iPhone guide to setup Charter mail

1 Open 'Settings', click on 'Passwords & accounts' and 'Add account'.

Click on your provider name if it's listed, otherwise click on 'Other'

2 Make sure 'Email' is checked and click 'Save'.

Your email account is now saved. In the next steps we check if all settings are correct.

3 Click on your newly created email address and choose 'Advanced'. Make sure that the following data is correct under 'Incoming server':

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 993

4 Go back to the previous screen and under 'Outgoing server' click on mobile.charter.net. Make sure the following information is correct:

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 587

  • I phone not receiving charter messages. Set up new account, It is still not working. Message states:Cannot Get Mail The mail server "mobile.charter,net" is not responding.Verify that you have entered the correct account info in Mail settings. I went to Passwords and Accounts screen. I now have 2 charter accounts. No mail.

  • I am trying to get the mail icon to appear on my iphone so i can easily access my charter emails. I accidently removed it and would like to get it back!

  • I get my charter emails on my iPhone and I delete them on the iPhone. When I go to my desktop computer (which is my main computer), the deleted emails are still there. The desktop is windows based and I am using Outlook.

  • when I go to email it shows my provider and I change that to mobile.charter.net I notice that twice I have added two more charter accounts by trying over and over to get it right. It keeps hanging up on verifying and won't let me back up from outgoing to incoming to double check settings. I have to turn phone off and on and then start over. How many add accounts do I have to have when it already shows mail.charter.net which I have to edit to mobile.charter.net

  • I haven’t received any emails since February 23, 2019. I get a message saying to log into mobile.charter.net. I do not know what that is, and I have no password for it, so I cannot receive my emails.

  • Why doesn’t my mail send from my Verizon iPhone 8 over WIFI? (I turn off cellular when I travel.). Been having numerous problems in general with email using my phone in the past month or do. Don’t ask me to check my WIFI connection - it’s working very well.
