iPhone guide to setup Charter mail

1 Open 'Settings', click on 'Passwords & accounts' and 'Add account'.

Click on your provider name if it's listed, otherwise click on 'Other'

2 Make sure 'Email' is checked and click 'Save'.

Your email account is now saved. In the next steps we check if all settings are correct.

3 Click on your newly created email address and choose 'Advanced'. Make sure that the following data is correct under 'Incoming server':

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 993

4 Go back to the previous screen and under 'Outgoing server' click on mobile.charter.net. Make sure the following information is correct:

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 587

Unable to set up charter email on my Macbook or iPhone. Followed all of the prompts, restarted...it just spins, then says that it is unable to verify based on the incoming server. I can get email on spectrum, but that's not acceptable for functionality.

For the past two weeks my wife and I have been unable to send e-mail from our Mac computers or our iPads. Establishing a new e-mail account from these devices does not work: the "verifying" message just spins until it times out. The problem is with Charter, not Apple.

My charter email account is saying that it now only works on at&t networks. I cannot get email on my iphone anymore. I have tried the native iphone mail app and through the Outlook app.

Having the same problem, support is so "helpful" telling me to use my browser on my phone to access my email. What a joke!
