Mediacom email settings for iPhone

iPhone guide to setup Mediacom mail

1 Open 'Settings', click on 'Passwords & accounts' and 'Add account'.

Click on your provider name if it's listed, otherwise click on 'Other'

2 Make sure 'Email' is checked and click 'Save'.

Your email account is now saved. In the next steps we check if all settings are correct.

3 Click on your newly created email address and choose 'Advanced'. Make sure that the following data is correct under 'Incoming server':

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 995

4 Go back to the previous screen and under 'Outgoing server' click on mail.mediacombb.net. Make sure the following information is correct:

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 465

My e-mail account (warnerjackson@mchsi.com) inexplicably started to not send e-mails. I've tried everything including deleting the account and reinstalling it. Nothing seems to work. Help!

Went on vacation last week and since thin have not been able to connect to my email account. Keeps saying does not recognize server. Tried to set up under a new e-mail serverstill will not connect

Followed directions but still getting message that user name or password for mail.mediacombb.net is incorrect

When adding an account I do not see or cannot find pop3 under incoming server. Also for outgoing mail server there is not ssl and a server port so I cannot enter 465 as the port number. I'd greatly appreciate any help you can give me.

I enter mail account info on 1st screen (Step 4) and it starts "verifying" but never stops so can't get any further.
