Mediacom email settings for iPhone

iPhone guide to setup Mediacom mail

1 Open 'Settings', click on 'Passwords & accounts' and 'Add account'.

Click on your provider name if it's listed, otherwise click on 'Other'

2 Make sure 'Email' is checked and click 'Save'.

Your email account is now saved. In the next steps we check if all settings are correct.

3 Click on your newly created email address and choose 'Advanced'. Make sure that the following data is correct under 'Incoming server':

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 995

4 Go back to the previous screen and under 'Outgoing server' click on Make sure the following information is correct:

Use SSL: on
Identity check: password
Server port: 465

  • When adding an account I do not see or cannot find pop3 under incoming server. Also for outgoing mail server there is not ssl and a server port so I cannot enter 465 as the port number. I'd greatly appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks, JoAnn

  • Same problem as the people below. For the last few days, my husband and I have not been able to send emails from our Iphones. I have called you and have had a chat session. NO ONE can assist me. I am ready to switch to a new internet service!
